Who We Are
The truth will show us all something something...
SharMoore Children’s Productions is a non-profit theatre education and outreach organization bringing the performing arts and the celebration of literacy to children and their communities. Developed out of the concerns of educators, parents and community activists, SharMoore Children’s Productions is dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to experience the power of their words and ideas through a collaborative engagement with the arts.

What We Do
fkjsaklfjas;lkfj;lakdf
At the heart of SharMoore Children’s Productions is Stories that Soar!™, a dynamic live theatre production created from the artistic translation of children’s original stories. Children see their words leap off the page and on to the stage in this unique performance presented by our talented company of professional actors incorporating music, comedy, dance, acrobatics, drama and a variety of multicultural performance styles. SharMoore Children’s Productions’ curriculum, artist residencies, educator workshops and other support products are designed to offer further engagement with this exciting project, giving children the opportunity to develop their own performance from their original literature.

How We Do It
Entering its fourth year at the University of Arizona, the program is currently serving local elementary schools that see the value of merging the support of literacy objectives with arts programming. Although each school is required to pay a minimal fee for the project the majority of production expenses are covered by funds from individual donors, corporate sponsors and grants. Through the generous support of our contributors and the efforts of our development team it is our goal to provide open access to Stories that Soar! to any school community that wants to participate in this empowering project.

SharMoore Productions provides a range of access to Stories that Soar! to meet individual school needs:
