The Magic Box™ is "hungry"...
The talking Magic Box invites children to "feed" it their original words and creative ideas, promising to give them back magic! After a few week of being voluntarily "stuffed full" of stories at an elementary school, The Magic Box disappears...
...what returns is Stories that Soar!™, a professionally acted, dynamic theatrical event created from 20-30 of the children's stories carefully selected from The Magic Box.
The live performance on the school stage includes singing, dancing, acrobatics, technology, comedy and drama, all infused with multicultural artistic influences. Children see their words soar off the page and onto the stage in this story sharing, community-building event.
The highlight of each unique show is when the student authors are invited on stage in recognition of their literary contributions. Through this entertaining and educational experience, all children see their words have power and meaning beyond themselves.
